Outgoing Imo state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has said that the problem Nigeria is facing as a country is that they don’t understand the Igbo people. He went on to describe the Igbo people as the most misrepresented ethnic group in Nigeria. “among all other ethnic groups in Nigeria, It’s only Igbo people that can go to another culture and settle an while settling, they join hands in developing that culture”.
This came as Muhammadu Buhari, President of Nigeria, commended traditional rulers in the country over the roles they played during and after the 2019 elections, adding that the relative peace that ensued could not be overemphasized as a result of the roles played by the traditional rulers.
