In 2007, she joined ThisDay Style as a beauty writer and then naturally transitioned into being a fashion/lifestyle writer.
Latasha has had the opportunity of Interviewing iconic figures in the entertainment industry both locally and internationally, Including Lionel Richie, Erykah Baduh, Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, Tyson Beckford etc.
2011 saw her joining Vanguard Newspapers’ Allure Magazine as an Assistant Editor, a position she holds till date.
In 2013, she was appointed Editor-in-Chief of Pride Magazine, successfully creating an African Blueprint for the popular UK publication’s Franchise.
She also became the lead host for Africa’s most popular Fashion jury and Lifestyle TV show, Glamsquad. The program was syndicated across Nigeria on Silverbird TV and eventually Africa on Africa Magic Entertainment.
In 2015, About That Curvy Life was born through a hash tag movement. ATCL is the first Internationally Acclaimed online body positivity movement. In just under two years since its birth, it has gone ahead to achieve the first ever plus size catwalk show in Africa at the Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week in October 2016. Since then the ATCL Collective has been featured on CNN, BBC, Euronews and many other respected platforms as well as showcased at Arise Fashion Week and Glitz Africa Fashion Week in Accra.
